Dr. Taj S. Mattu is a passionate advocate for sustainable solutions that drive economic development, particularly through innovative electricity solutions. With over 25 years of experience in technology evaluation and commercialization, he currently serves as the Technical & Commercial Director at Thermachange, a company funded by the UK’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority to develop solutions for radiological asbestos-containing materials. This role builds upon his previous decade as the Technical & Commercial Director of an Energy from Waste project development company, where he developed a deep understanding of the energy sector.
Dr. Mattu is an accomplished professional in evaluating transformative technologies that can significantly impact society. His expertise was enhanced through his roles as President of Foresight Science & Technology Inc., as well as management positions at the UK Ministry of Defence’s innovation company and the University of Oxford.
